CELES was created in 1967 in order to industrialize and to market a technical innovation, the high or middle frequency aperiodic generator. Since then it has intensify its efforts for developing new sources of high frequency power. With now more than 40 years of know-how in Induction, CELES designs, manufactures and commissions equipment worldwide for by induction heating applications. With a complete range of equipment, CELES covers today almost a full spectrum of the induction heating applications, of the associated power electronics and industrial cooling.

Subsidiary of Stein-Heurtey then of the FIVES-LILLE group, CELES with more than 5000 induction heating generators installed is the French leader of power sources for induction. In 1990 CELES took control of STEFI, a company specialized in the Industrial cooling. The whole activity was transferred to LAUTENBACH, and the STEFI products are marketed henceforth under the name of CELES.
